While many are celebrating Pumpkin Spice, I’m celebrating soup season! I love a nice bowl of soup. If I can top it with toasted bread and melted cheese then all the better.
French onion soup is hard to find gluten free when eating out, but it is so simple to make at home! With a little patience, a bowl of warm gluten free French Onion soup is the perfect fall dish.
If you use a high quality beef stock, it’s so simple to make. The hardest part is waiting for the onions to caramelize…and waiting for it to cool so you don’t burn your tongue!
Once the onions have caramelized and cooked in the beef broth, Three bakers Hot Dog buns (or hoagie rolls!) are perfect for topping and hold up well to both the soup and melted cheese.
